4. Online bookings
For online booking of our holiday home, we use VikBooking, a booking system operated locally on our WordPress website.
When you make a booking, we process the personal data you provide, in particular your name, address, contact details, travel period and booking details.
The data is processed for the purpose of carrying out and managing your booking, for communication with you, and for fulfilling legal obligations.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b and lit. c GDPR.
Booking platforms and channel managers
We use the following for synchronizing and managing bookings: e4j Channel Manager. This enables the exchange of necessary booking and availability data with the booking platforms Airbnb and Booking.com.
Where necessary for processing the booking, personal booking data will be transmitted to the participating service providers and booking platforms.
For bookings made via external platforms, their respective data protection regulations also apply.

When you contact us by email, we process your information to handle your request and for possible follow-up questions.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b or lit. f GDPR, depending on the type of request.
6. Cookies
Our website uses technically necessary cookies, in particular for the functionality of the website and the booking system.
Cookie settings are managed via Compliance.

7. Fonts and external content
The Google Fonts used on our website are hosted locally on our web server. Therefore, no connection to Google servers is established when these fonts are loaded.
We do not use embedded Google Maps or videos.

Booking and invoice data are stored in accordance with the applicable legal retention periods.
