Arrival in Hohentauern
The address for the GPS navigation system is:
Almdorf 29, 8785 HohentauernTake the "Trieben" exit (A9) and drive up the main road to Hohentauern (approx. 10 minutes). In Hohentauern, turn RIGHT at the "Restaurant Passhöhe". A few meters further on, the entrance to the Almdorf is on the RIGHT, and the reception is on the LEFT.
Important: Please stop here. You will receive the key to the chalet and bed linen at reception (see Check-In).
Check in
Your local contact person is the "Almdorf Service". To check into your chalet, please check in at reception – located before the entrance to the Almdorf – between 3 pm and 6 pm. You will receive the key, bed linen, and your tourist card.

Check out
On the day of departure, you must leave the chalet by 10 am and you will receive your deposit back from the Almdorf service.
Please note before departure:
- wash and put away the dishes
- Dispose of the waste (please separate it for the sake of the environment)
- Strip the bed linen
- ""broom clean" handover
Additional costs: What you will need to pay on site
The tourist tax, bed linen, and pet fees are payable on site. Final cleaning is charged and paid in advance along with the rental fee.
A security deposit of €300 is payable upon check-in by credit card or cash and will be returned upon departure. If a final inspection at check-out is not possible due to time constraints, the deposit will be refunded.
The Chalet: Parking and Amenities
You can drive directly to the chalet. Simply drive into the alpine village and keep to the left. Chalet Triebenstein is located in the third row of houses on the left. Two cars can park directly at the chalet. There is space for a third car along the roadside.
Consumables such as dish soap, tea towels, spices, toilet paper, soap, charcoal and lighter fluid, etc., must be brought by the guest.
Tip: There are two large supermarkets at the entrance to Trieben for your shopping needs. A small grocery store is also located directly in Hohentauern, about 300m from the chalet.
