Travel to Hohentauern
The address for the navigation system is:
Almdorf 29, 8785 HohentauernTake the highway exit “Trieben” (A9) and drive up the main road to Hohentauern (approx. 10 minutes). In Hohentauern turn RIGHT at “Restaurant Passhöhe”. A few meters further on, you will find the entrance to the Almdorf on the RIGHT. The reception is on the LEFT.
Important: Make a stop here. You will receive the key for the chalet and the bed linen at reception (see check-in).
Check-In
Your contact person on site is the “Almdorfservice”. In order to be able to move into your chalet, please check in at the reception from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. – in front of the entrance to the Almdorf – beforehand. You will receive the key, bed linen and your tourist card.

Check-Out
On the day of departure you must leave the chalet by 10 am and the Almdorfservice will return your deposit.
Before departure, please:
- Wash and put away the dishes
- Dispose of the garbage (please separate for the sake of the environment)
- Remove the bed linen
- Leave the house tidy
Additional costs: What you pay on site
The tourist tax, bed linen and costs for pets are to be paid on site. The final cleaning will is already debited or paid in advance together with the rent.
A deposit of €300 must be paid by credit card or in cash at check-in and will be returned on departure. If a final inspection at check-out is not possible due to time constraints, the deposit will be returned to you.
Das Chalet: Parken und Ausstattung
You can drive your car directly to the chalet. Simply drive into the Almdorf, keeping LEFT first. Chalet Triebenstein is located in the third row of houses on the LEFT. Two cars can park directly at the chalet. There is space for a third car at the roadside.
Consumables such as washing-up liquid, tea towels, spices, toilet paper, soap, charcoal and barbecue lighter etc. must be brought by yourself.
There are two large supermarkets for shopping at the entrance to Trieben. There is also a small grocery store directly in Hohentauern approx. 300m from the chalet.
